1. What This Policy Covers
WorldPray is a community prayer platform built and published by Logesta Labs. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you when you use the WorldPray app, website, and related services.
Some features described below may be introduced over time. We collect information for a feature only when that feature is available and you choose to use it.
2. Information You Provide
Depending on how you use the service, you may provide:
- Account information, such as your name, email address, password or sign-in credentials, and identifiers received from Sign in with Apple or Google
- Profile and onboarding information, including your country, city, timezone, prayer interests, and an optional date of birth
- Community content, including comments, replies, hearts, reports, and other material you choose to submit
- Prayer activity, including the prayer sessions you join and whether you tap “I Prayed” for a particular occurrence
- Notification preferences and contact details, such as an email address or phone number, when you choose email or SMS reminders
- Messages and other information you send when you contact us for support
3. Information Collected Automatically
We collect limited technical and usage information needed to operate, protect, and improve the service.
- Device, app, browser, operating-system, language, and general network information
- Push-notification tokens and records showing whether a notification was scheduled or delivered
- Log, diagnostic, crash, security, and anti-abuse information
- Interactions with the service, such as prayer views, searches, filters, subscriptions, hearts, comments, and participation confirmations
- Your current timezone or timezone changes so prayer times and reminders can be shown at the correct local time
4. Prayer and Community Information
Prayer topics can involve health, faith, family, conflict, loss, or other sensitive matters. Please share only what you are comfortable making available to the intended audience, and do not post another person's private or sensitive information without permission.
Official prayer requests are created or reviewed by moderators. Comments, replies, display names, and related activity may be visible to other members. Aggregate counts—such as the number of people committed, the number who confirmed prayer, hearts, and countries represented—may also be visible in the service.
Tapping “I Prayed” records only that you chose to confirm participation. We do not infer that an unconfirmed member did not pray.
5. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create and secure your account and provide the service
- Convert prayer schedules to your timezone and manage overlapping prayer commitments
- Personalize discovery using interests, country, activity, and other preferences
- Send prayer reminders, urgent-prayer notices, community updates, and service communications according to your settings
- Display community content and calculate participation, engagement, and platform-health metrics
- Review reports, moderate content, prevent spam and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service
- Troubleshoot, analyze, maintain, and improve the service
- Comply with law and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of members, the public, and the service
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as needed in the following circumstances:
- With other members and the public when you post community content or take an action designed to be visible or included in aggregate counts
- With moderators and administrators who review prayer activity, reports, community content, and aggregate statistics
- With service providers that support hosting, authentication, databases, analytics, crash reporting, content moderation, email, SMS, push notifications, customer support, or payment processing
- When required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, and the integrity of the service
- As part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards
7. Notifications and Communications
You can control reminder channels and many notification categories in the app or through your device settings. Disabling a channel may prevent time-sensitive prayer reminders from reaching you.
SMS reminders are sent only after you expressly opt in. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by following the instructions in the message. Message and data rates may apply. We may still send essential account or service messages where permitted by law.
8. Optional Contributions
If you choose to support the mission financially, payment information is handled by the app store or payment processor shown at checkout. We do not receive your full payment-card details, but we may receive transaction details such as the amount, date, status, and a transaction identifier.
9. Retention and Account Deletion
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by the type of information and why it is used.
You may request account and personal-information deletion through the controls provided in the app or by emailing contact@logestalabs.com. We may retain limited information where required by law or for security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes. Content already shared with others may remain in quoted, moderated, aggregated, or de-identified form where removal is not reasonably possible.
10. Your Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information.
- Review and update profile, interest, timezone, and notification settings in the app
- Unsubscribe from prayer sessions and withdraw notification permissions
- Edit or delete community content where the service provides that option
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information
- Object to or restrict certain processing, or request a portable copy, where applicable
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong, unique password and protect access to your account and devices.
12. Children
WorldPray is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of this policy, please contact us so we can take appropriate action. Higher minimum ages may apply in some countries.
13. International Use
WorldPray is global by design. Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, and those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised policy with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required by law or when a change is material.
